We live in the Brewers’ hometown, so we thought from a business perspective it was only natural to embrace Milwaukee’s great brewing heritage and launch a series of collaborations with brewmasters from across the Midwest.

Central Standard fans will be excited to keep tabs on this series of planned exclusive releases.

Series 1 & 2: Toppling Goliath Barrel-Aged Brandy

To really bring the flavor of the Midwest to life, we aged our already-delicious North Wisconsin Brandy an additional month in barrels previously used to create Toppling Waters stout (Series #1) and Assassin barells (Series #2).

Before housing beer, the barrels were home to maple syrup. That flavor combination imparts a subtle espresso aroma with hints of chocolate, caramel and a faint sweet, maple syrup finish.

Central Standard’s Toppling Goliath Barrel-Aged Brandy will be available in a limited supply at retailers in Wisconsin and Iowa starting in October.

Series 3: North Wisconsin Brandy Finished In Hinterland Brewing Grand Cru Barrels

The third installment to the Brewmaster Series has arrived!

This award winning brewery produces beers true to their Wisconsin roots. HInterland Grand Cru is a kettle sour barrel aged Cherry Belgian Ale, made with cherries from Door County Wisconsin.  The bourbon oak finish  of the beer and cherries are a perfect complement to our North Brandy delivering a crisp tartness on the front end of and finishing with a touch of brandy sweetness. We finish this twist on a Wisconsin staple for 30 days in the Hinterland Grand Cru barrels for the ideal “Up North” brandy experience.
Perfect for a refreshing brandy old fashioned or a sidecar for those late spring and early summer nights gathering around your fire pit with friends and family.  Available for a limited time so head to your local retailer to purchase and enjoy. If you can’t get you hands on it while it is available, we will have additional releases in this popular series in Jul/Aug and Sept/Oct of 2022.

1.5 oz Brewmaster Series Hinterland North Brandy
0.75 oz triple sec
0.5 oz simple syrup
1oz of lemon juice

Shake over ice and strain into sugar rimmed glass.
